Julie Prey-Harbaugh, owner of One Childhood Consulting, is committed to her life's work of "making safe spaces for kids" in a variety of contexts, but especially in communities of faith. A graduate of Eastern University (Dual B.A. in Youth Ministry and Sociology, 1994) and Princeton Theological Seminary (M.Div., 2004) Julie has extensive experience working with young people and survivors of abuse—as a trainer, caseworker, support group facilitator, youth sponsor, activist, preacher and worship leader. She currently serves as a chaplain at the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia, and is a licensed minister of Franconia Mennonite Conference. She also maintains relationships with FaithTrust Institute, the American Professional Society on the Abuse of Children, and the Association of Youth Ministry Educators.
